I never planned to sell my home of 23 years that summer (2021).

Our master plan was to get ready to sell in two years. We had a list of fix-up projects and planned to enter the market shiny and ready in 2023. Then, I had a casual call with a friend and local Realtor, Wendy Maddocks, and we discussed the current state of the real estate market and how it was a seller’s market. After discussing it with my husband, we decided to list our home for sale. We met with Wendy and explained that although we had a very tight timeline, we wanted to list the property with her.
